Built by Westerly Marine Inc., designed by Robert Perry, for Bruce Anderson, this is the third boat in succession for Bruce Anderson and built by Westerly Marine. His first boat was an Andrews 36 IOR racer, the second boat was a Perry 56 IMS racer that had nice appointments for cruising; the recently launched Perry 59 is an all out cruiser.

Aesthetically, the Perry 59 is a graceful boat from any perspective. The almost plumb bow achieves added waterline length and a fine entry. The hullform is classic Robert Perry. The side decks are spacious enough for easy movement and the nonskid will prevent slips without being overly harsh. A generous cabin accounts for a two tier design that provides a very open, airy design; with a great amount of natural light streaming into the Cherry interior and onto the Granite counter tops. From astern, she's got a potent aft quarter to add stability and reaching power.
